There is One God
A Sunday School Song

There is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus!

This song is an easy way to learn this verse from I Timothy 2:5& 6.

Sunday school song: the Bible verse 1 Timothy 2:5 & 6, for piano and voice, with chords.

The notion of a MEDIATOR goes very far back in the Bible... One who will stand in the gap between two parties at odds with each other.

Jesus Christ is uniquely qualified to be the mediator between humans and God, because he is both man and God!

This melody goes round and round; because of the repetition, it will be easy to learn.  Clapping on the OFF-beats will work well with this song! (That means beats 2 and 4...)

There is one God, and there is one

Mediator between God and men,

The man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself

As a ransom for all.  First Timothy 2: 5, 6.
